Biography :

Brigadier General Bojesen joined the military service in 1974. Two years later he graduated the Specialized Army School (as a military translator from Russian). He then served as a staff officer in the Danish Armed Forces. In 19951996 he headed the Danish national intelligence cell (DANIC) at the IFOR headquarters in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 19961998 he served in the Main Operational Control Directorate (peace keeping operations) of the Supreme Command of the Danish Armed Forces. In 19992000 he was Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Danish peacekeeping contingent within KFOR in Kosovo. After graduating the General Staff Academy of the Russian Federation, he was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General in 2003. In 2004 he was elected president of the Moscow association of military attachés.
