“The seminar on BRICS, SCO, CSTO, which was held within the framework of the XX Annual International School on Global Security, allowed to combine two scientific and educational formats of the PIR Center – Midweek Brainstorming sessions and the School. High research potential of the School participants, their erudition, and nonstandard perspectives allowed to work on the most thorny provisions of the PIR Center’s report on BRICS expansion. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with School participants in this area and other issues,” – Sergey Semenov, PIR Center’s Nonproliferation & Russia Program Coordinator.

«Roundtable discussions and seminars that are hallmarks of the Summer School provide opportunities for broad discussions among the participants. Especially, I want to point out the importance and practical significance of the debates. All topics helped to create a new vision of global security challenges, to expand my knowledge. Amazingly professional speakers, the methodology for conducting classes, presenters always give full and succinct answers to questions. A balanced approach to the selection of participants made it possible to get acquainted with approaches to solving problems in different countries».
